Aluminum Extrusion Press Expansion

New Aluminum Extruder Building
The acquisition of four properties made room for the facility expansion in 2007/2008, which when completed, added 35,086 square feet of manufacturing space and 5,200 square feet of office space, having grown the facility from 64,340 square feet to 104,426 square feet.
Simultaneous to the building expansion, the 12" P3500 extrusion press was acquired, relocated and reassembled. The press was up-fitted with a new puller, run out table, under table cooling system and water quench system for optimization. The press began production in August, 2008.
The facility was renovated to include a state of the art die shop that features an automated Gerref caustic system, Guyson shot blast system, Birmingham vertical mill and Longem 1550 lathe. Maintenance and MRO area have been established.
Additionally, value added services such as anodizing and powder paint are now made available to TCE customers.
